OUR BACKGROUND

Prime Oil Ltd was established and registered in 2009 and incorporated into limited company in 2016.

Since its inception, the company has made significant progress towards start up process by securing the premises for its operations, obtaining the necessary legal documents required to run a company in Zambia, and purchasing a fleet of trucks to transport its petroleum products.

The Prime Oil brand has come to symbolize speed, conveniences, service and value. In additions to quality fuels at its Petrol Stations which are 24 hours open, these locations also offer a wide range of services from convenience store products, mechanical repairs and services.

WHO WE ARE

Prime OIL Ltd. is an Oil Marketing Company in Zambia. The company was established and registered in 2009 and incorporated into a limited company in 2016. Prime Oil provides an end to end solution from Importation of Products through Bulk Petroleum Supply system (BPS), having own logistic fleet of tankers, and own Retail stations providing fuel and lubricants to end customers with the highest Health, Safety and Environmental Standards.

Our pride is by providing highest service standards, providing quality and consistent supply of fuel, lubricants and other oil products to our customers.

Today, PRIME OIL ZAMBIA continues to expand its African footprint, focusing on markets in landlocked and coastal countries in sun-Saharan Africa. PRIME OIL ZAMBIA invests significantly in the latest technology to drive forward and backward and inclusive integration in its business, and on leveraging synergies between those businesses. We also focus on inhouse and outsourced research and innovation to be a low-cost industry value-chain key supplier with high quality products and innovative customer offerings.

Strategic tie-ups and partnerships with other African oil marketing companies gives PRIME OIL ZAMBIA access to the variety of petroleum products and the right to use their terminals and facilities for placing and marketing our products. This gives our company a pan-African presence.

The company is held by its proprietors, who have diverse qualifications and experience.

Chairman: Yohannes Tecle

Yohannes has more than 26 years of experience in management in multiple sectors. He has international experience in Eritrea, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Europe.

He worked in import-export and transportation sectors but also in customer care services. As such, he makes sure the customer remains central in all business relations.

His international experience together with solid business administration roots will enable Prime Oil to reach new heights.
